I’m Frank Lahaye, a photographer. Photography has always played a role in my life. From a young age, I felt the urge to capture the world as I experienced it pure, sometimes raw, but always with deep respect for nature and animals.

After my father passed away, I took time to pause and reflect. To think about what truly matters and which direction I wanted to take in life. But reflection alone wasn’t enough. It also called for action for consciously making choices. The founding of Lemuria is one of those choices: a long-cherished dream and a decision to share my work with the world.

When I first shared my photography, people were moved and enthusiastic. They recognized something in my images the silence, the strength, the deep connection with nature and animals. My work found its way into people’s hearts, into new homes, and into galleries and exhibitions. I feel proud and deeply grateful whenever my photos truly touch someone.
